If I look back at 2019 all I have to pay attention to is the last few weeks which account for some small changes that will continue to add up, either by the results delivered down the road or by simply being put in motion so as to lead to whatever is next.
Action. You want to look back at all your problems or losses as well as your wins and gains. Do it. Quickly. You can take the pat-on-the-back for comfort or attaboy, but don't strain your neck looking over your shoulder at what's happened. Look forward knowing that your past has prepared you. Your hindsight will bring headway in 2020 if and only when you take action to make small changes that lead to big results. Start with smiling more, walking more or talking less, scrolling less. Inaction and action are one in the same. A few weeks ago I put in place 100/100 reps of push-ups/pull-ups. 20 plus days in I have added another 100 reps of something else. Each day I put forth the effort to knock out 300 repetitions of a variety of exercises. The first thing this has taught me - It Is Possible. In an ever decreasing amount of time. Secondly it is contagious - others in my different circles are repping out their own variation. Third and foremost - thinking about and doing it take the same amount of energy. If I just think about doing, my energy is drained. If I do the things I used to think about my energy is boosted. Same energy, different effort, better results. We can look back with 20/20 hindsight or we can look forward, nose squished-squinting to the horizon to take action for all that is ahead of us. Preferably with a smile. Be blessed.

Okay so. I went through a period of time recording ringtones and found no good way to upload them to a site that distributes ringtones. Below is my ringtone of the NSA recording your phone conversations. Or at least the tone alludes to the fact that they may do that. They at least have the capability to do so though I really can't figure out why they would want to listen to you talk to your mother. Download it and put it on your phone as a reminder of the digital privacy issues we have today. Mostly just make it a beautiful day!
Fun! But the learning curve of technology is annoying. It's fun though. We've been friends for a long time and have somewhat skewed albeit privileged views of the world.
We also have a world of experiences, wins, fails, mistakes and magic that we will ultimately get to while discussing the ways of the world as they are at the moment. If I can figure out which button to hit and how to edit stuff. Mostly we just chat about what's going on and think that you may very well be able to relate whether you have kids or cats. Joe and I get to chatting about my Feline Family and Joe's Real Family on our podcast, Kids VS. Cats! |
